THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID is a mad musical bouquet of imaginative, comic songs about lesbians. Amy Turner, vocalist, and Kathryn Lounsbery, pianist and vocalist, effortlessly take their audiences on a whirlwind tour through music: jazz, rap, folk, disco, light opera, and power ballads, to name a few, are presented on an eco-friendly silver platter. Their musical versatility and impeccable comic timing have quickly garnered rave reviews and a world-wide following. (June 4 – July 16, Fridays, 8pm)
CRAZY IS WHAT CRAZY DOES is the latest one-woman power shot written and performed by critically-acclaimed Ruthy Otero. Returning home from a trip around the world, Ruth is miserable because she feels unable to be her true authentic self on American soil…or within 3 thousand miles of her family. In her fearless and hilarious fashion, Ruth continues to explore trust, choice, guilt, sex, envy and crazy while looking for the “right” life. (June 5 and 6 previews, June 12 – July 18, Saturdays 8pm and Sundays 2pm)
THE OBLIVION SERIES, the new original one-act by Justine Warrington, is an intimate, raw and provocative journey through the trials and tribulations of existence in today’s fast-paced, sensationalistic and increasingly frightening world told through monologues by modern women battling their deepest fears and fighting for truth, clarity, connection and love. Directed by Jennie O’Donnell, the cast is Warrington, teresa crespo hartendorp, Diana Elizabeth Jordan, Sara Beth Lane and Sarah Rosenberg. This piece contains adult language and partial nudity. (June 5 and 6 previews, June 12 – July 18, Saturdays 8pm and Sundays 2pm following CRAZY)
