(LOS ANGELES, CA) – Moving Arts invites you to experience five original and absurdly impossible new stories certain to be fun and fantastic.

Moving Arts, as part of The Hollywood Fringe Festival, will be presenting their new, site-specific creation, “ASAP Fables” on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 5 PM, around the grounds of the legendary Hollywood United Methodist Church (HUMC) located at Highland and Franklin Avenues. This family-friendly event will feature the performance of five, absurdly impossible and original fables, all of which were created… as soon as possible.

Two days prior to the show, teams of actors, writers and directors will receive a handful of instructions and a Modern Moral, submitted in advance via the web. With no money and only 48 hours, each team must overcome merciless production challenges and bring to life a new and original fable for your enjoyment. As an Audience Member, you will be guided through the grounds of HUMC, as these tales are performed for your pleasure. At the end, you will be able to vote on your favorite and determine which team of Fabulists are most Fabulous.

Moving Arts is an award-winning theatre company with a 17-year history of producing bold new works and providing a home for emerging theater artists to grow and play. Their work, both on stage (“Song of Extinction”, “Blood and Thunder”) and environmental, (“The Car Plays”, “Arachnotopia”) has garnered the company acclaim from critics and audiences alike. “ASAP Fables”, their contribution to the exciting new Hollywood Fringe Festival, should not be missed.
