Susan Burns’s one-man play “On the Blvd.” opens June 17th as part of the 1st annual Hollywood Fringe Festival

Hollywood, CA – “On the Blvd.” is a one act, one-man play starring Matt DeNoto. In forty minutes, DeNoto creates four different characters who have each found themselves at a crossroads on the country’s most famous street, and weaves their stories together bringing them all to a single, life-changing moment in time. “On the Blvd.” is written and directed by Susan Burns and produced by HeyMelpomene Productions.

“On the Blvd.” is a brand new play in its world premiere. This FREE SHOW opens June 17th in the “Ballroom” Studio Theatre of ComedySportzLA, as a visiting production. It runs June 17th, 18th (at 3:00pm), June 19th (at 5:00pm) and June 21st and 22nd (at 7:00pm). The running time is 40 minutes, and there will be an audience talk-back directly following for 15 minutes.

David Cooper has just been served with an eviction notice. His Landlord would love to give him a break, but is bound by a tradition of rules. Dave’s friend, Mitch, is on the outs with his long-term boyfriend, and turns to a tourist, of all people for relationship advice. These are just some of the people we all come across everyday on Hollywood Boulevard. It’s been said Hollywood is a lonely town, but these characters are out to prove we are all connected to each other in ways we may not even realize.
