Los Angeles, CA (June 1, 2010) Freakstar Entertainment and Elephant Stages present PINK CHAMPAGNE. The delicious Dylan Jones joins forces with a team of dancers and musicians to bring her cabaret PINK CHAMPAGNE to the Lillian Theatre (1076 North Lillian Way) in Hollywood. This World Premiere opens June 19, 2010 to June 26, 2010 as part of the very first Hollywood Fringe Festival.
PINK CHAMPAGNE is a rollicking cabaret evening of glitter and shenanigans brought to life by the sequined journey through a past-life regression. Pink Champagne weaves outbursts of freshly re-done musical numbers through a concoction of talking vegetables, stiletto wit and of course, the haze of Pink Champagne. Miss Jones deftly blends heartbreak and hilarity into a highly stylized, over-the-top extravaganza melded together by her team of gorgeous dancers that guarantees a good time. Bring your own hangover.
Miss Jones is a critically acclaimed actor as well as a writer, dancer and singer-songwriter. Most notably, she has appeared in the Oscar nominated Ghost World, television’s Seventh Heaven, and in such award winning productions as the Elephant Theatre Company’s Block Nine, 7 Redneck Cheerleaders, and Zoo District’s The Master and Margarita. She is also famous with 4 year olds for her singing and dancing with Gwendolyn & the Good Time Gang.
PINK CHAMPAGNE is directed by Aryiel Hartman (Lucent Dossier) and choreographed by Angela Drown. She shares the stage with 4 terrifically talented dancing, singing, acting performers and the genius musical stylings of Gere Fennelly (Redd Kross).
