I tend to figure out where a show is headed quickly, but this kept me guessing all the way up to the end. Also, after seeing countless shows where grownups play kids as ‘children’ with cloying voices, etc., it was really refreshing to see the kid characters portrayed with adult voices – made both the comedy and the serious stuff land with more impact and honesty.
What I didn't like
Given the nature of Fringe, there isn’t time for more elaborate scenic elements and I think in a full-on production, there’s could be more fun had with the transitions, but overall, it’s rare that I come out of a show thinking I’d have liked to have seen more, versus less.
My overall impression
Delightful fun! Strong performances, unique script/story and sharp, specific direction, everything I like to see in a Fringe show!
