I enjoyed the tarot card framing device, as well as a number of characters that Larry inhabited as he told his story. His authenticity and willingness to be vulnerable is what really steals the show.
What I didn't like
Some of the character voices were not too distinct. There are some aspects that were a little shaky for the preview performance as well, that could be refined a bit, such as the puppet bit.
My overall impression
Larry shows us his comedic side that feels like a mix of Rodney Dangerfield with mix of Cheech Marin, and kept me entertained the entire time. But what really stole the show was his vulnerable side. This story is clearly very personal, and it takes a lot of guts to be vulnerable like that on stage, and it pays off well.
