In this follow-up to CAT-A-HOLICS (An Unlikely Threesome, Fringe, 2016) writer-performer Cindy D’Andrea continues her exploration of our feline friends as possible “cat”-y-lists for change and personal growth. Helmed by award-winning theater director, Iona Morris, performances are June 3, 15, 16, 23 & 24 at The New Collective LA, 6440 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA. Show times vary, check the listings below for exact times.

In this poignant comedy, D’Andrea plays Cindy, a personal trainer and actress who has spent a lifetime taking care of others…her family, clients, and anyone who needs a friend. Her bad choices in men have led her to believe that she is worthless and unlovable. Having thoughts of ending her life, Cindy calls her best friend to say goodbye, and is shocked at her friends’ response: “Don’t kill yourself, Cindy. Just get a cat.”

Four cats and 17 years later, Cindy is a happy cat owner and rescuer. She has found unconditional love, a supportive community and a great excuse to avoid dating, socializing, or taking other kinds of risks. After all, who would feed the cats?

Cindy D’Andrea is an actress, writer, producer, and fitness expert. her current film, Happenstance, is touring the film festival circuit.

Iona Morris has directed Jenifer Lewis, Blair Underwood, Penny Johnson Jerald, Kim Wayans and many others in creating their solo shows:
