Slashed! Returns

This is a super fun and campy show - -a great choice for a late night performance. I'm barely a low grade slasher movie fan, but this isn't a show where any real knowledge of the genre is necessary so don't skip it if you're on the edge. It'S Laugh out Loud funny, consistently - the story moves along with everything dying off as should be expected - you're out of this one in 45 minutes which is the perfect length for the spirit of the show. The songs are very short and I don't feel like the sho... full review

This show is a delight! Amanda is an endearing leading lady with a relatable plight- we go on an online dating journey with her through all the ugly truths of match.com- the jerks, the creepers-- all set to a soundtrack of Broadway songs parodies- it's like the story of my life.... right down to the high brow choices of songs that get parodied - when the guys came out with frames and performed a relatively eclectic Bway tune "facade" my musical theatre loving heart exploded into a thousand com... full review

Best of INK presents CHARLIE MOOSE MAKES HIS MOVE

This play captured my interest from the 10 second promo where a zillion people shared their fringe shows and that's hard to do- I'm so glad I was able to see the whole thing and I recommend you check it out as well. I hope this gets extended so I can catch a second viewing - this show packs a strong punch with it's brilliant script - I have no complaints of missing anything, but it was so dynamic and funny that it would be a fun read or a great show to get to watch multiple times because of all t... full review

The Joe & Joshua Show! (2018 Edition)

In case you didn't realize it, this year at Fringe, you have the opportunity to watch a polished but still spontaneous live HBO comedy special disguised as a late night 2 man show. I recommend you catch these guys in this tiny studio theatre before you have to shell out serious cash to see them In some giant expensive venue cause I'd be incredibly surprised if they spent much more time in such humble accommodations. It was an absolute treat to watch this show - I laughed my face off - BIG lo... full review

I had a delightful time and I highly recommend this show! The lyrics are witty, lol-worthy, and poignant. The concept is smart and well-carried out. The choreo is superb and I'm not someone who commonly comments on that aspect. The cast is strong overall, mostly made of excellent movers and vocalists with a few who pull their weight in other ways like stronger acting, etc. This cast brings it with their energy and the ensemble offer a lot of fun and commitment to their roles. I almost snuck... full review

Brittanie talks about the light, but i think it's just her. We get a piece of her enduring spirit in this storytelling style show with a few fun meetings with friends and relatives, and an engaging omniscient voice. Brittanie's journey is compelling and important to talk about. Her passion is absolutely inspiring! While it was so great to hear about her amazing non profit I felt that robbed the show a little theatrically in term of momentum - would Have been cool to see parts of the video through... full review

This is probably the most immersive solo piece I've ever attended! I had seen the shows debut months ago, and it was already amazing but Cherry Cola has stepped up her game. I want to highlight things, but I also don't want to give away all of the surprises! You'll definitely catch some feelings- belly laughs, shock at times, and maybe even a case of the feels. It's probably nothing 10 pounds of coke cant solve... speaking of immersive, not only does Cherise leave her whole heart on that stage, s... full review

Diana is a master of character portrayal - like someone call SNL now! Not only are her many characters (and she plays a ton) easily distinguished, they each felt Intentional- from nasal and annoying truth to tv host/politician sounding denial. She seamlessly goes from character to character in this fast paced show! I laughed the whole time, but my heart ached the whole time as well. It takes real skill to evoke such contrasting emotion at the same time! Diana candidly shares her account of s... full review

Upstairs - a Musical Tragedy

Beautiful voices and some amazing harmonies - There were a few breathtaking moments vocally - The songs were ambitious with several being carried out to full effect and a few especially in the beginning, that seemed to need a little work to get everyone fully up to speed as far as tempo and whatnot, but I saw the preview so that's something that I'm Sure will be polished. Personally, I'd rather see a cast fight their way into nailing an ambitious score than see a cast sing a few simple ditties ... full review
