Although the story takes place in the 1970's, the life issues the show tackles head on, transcends time. Very relatable story for those of us who want more out of life, who feel attached to where we come from, and who feel that life is just one hit after another... Yet we continue to dream. What an entertaining, and fun musical. What do you do to help navigate the layered family dynamics... sing it out! I mean, why not?! You will really enjoy the well written songs that helped pushed the story along. The songs added comedy and heart felt moments to the scenes.
