The characters don’t know anything more than the audience does at the beginning and watching their authentic reactions to their peculiar situation and how the dots were connected was intriguing! I was certainly cast into the present moment with them. The acting was fantastic and I was thoroughly impressed; also the actors clearly had chemistry, which made it even more enjoyable.
What I didn't like
I think the playwright’s context for what world this play takes place in is really fascinating and it may be worthwhile to include it at some point within the play. Not including it, however, is also a choice and makes the situation feel more existential and immediate.
My overall impression
Beckett meets Black Mirror. Approached exploring emotion from a unique angle.
