What I liked
Ann is hyper specific when it comes to differentiating characters. What seems at first to be fun and childish, slowly degrades away as the character uses the female heroines in her books to understand herself and the position she is in. Ending in a moment with a lamp that made me absolutely sob. Brava!!
What I didn't like

My overall impression
A masterclass in one-person shows. A talented craftsperson at the very top of their game. A must-see spectacular of emotions and vulnerability. Ann had us all in the palm of her hand and left me cheering for more. Dealing with themes of self-delusion and being trapped, highlights the idea that, for each of us, Hell is only locked from the inside and we are only as trapped as we believe we are.
