My overall impression

It’s been two days since I had the opportunity to see Graham Bowlin’s new play RODEO TOWN and still can’t shake it. When was the last time you saw something both relentlessly suspenseful and undoubtedly unique? It seems like every play, movie, book, I read these days is utterly predictable. Not Rodeo Town. There are a million ways this show can play out.

To say much about the plot would be a disservice to the show. Suffice to say the meticulously structured events, sharp dialogue, and top notch acting made for an evening at the theatre I won’t soon forget.

In the mind of this lifelong theatre fan RODEO TOWN builds off the promise of Bowlin’s last play LABORATORIES OF OUR YOUTH and announces the arrival of a bold new playwright.

You’d be an absolute fool to miss this one.
