My overall impression

I’ve seen plays from Broadway to LA…and Rodeo Town is one of the most well written and flawlessly acted dark comedies I’ve experienced thus far. It explores the issues of trust and tradition in a deeply moving, yet suspenseful plot. The relationship between the tortured yet loving Lonnie (Harry Beer) and the pure innocence of Kelly (Dustin Bayers)exemplifies the fraternal bond some men possess. In contrast, the arrogance of Garth (Eric Cire) and naivete of Richard (Dustin Gooch) manifests how often the more powerful manipulate others with ease. The intensity of this ensemble cast should not be missed!
