My overall impression
Thumb wars is an accurate interpretation of this generations’ dating world. Over analyzing text messages is apparent in most young people’s lives; I know I’ve definitely done it. With endless humor comes sweet moments of organic emotion from all four actors. Dylan’s approach to his character was hilarious and Brian (Keith) was so genuine and it really showed in his monologue about “dating is a game”. The girls powered through their performance flawlessly and their chemistry was brilliant. Both sets of friends worked amazingly well with one another and timing was perfect. I laughed the entire time.
