From the second the lights go down and the audience is treated to an early 90’s hip-hop dance routine that looks like it came straight out of an elementary school talent show, Germaine really takes you back to the good ol’ days. It’s a funny and sometimes touching look at growing up in a tough Long Island clan with three brothers. This is a great show to see with your siblings – no matter if you were the victim or the perpetrator growing up.
The energy is great, the show is a lot of fun, and the lead is easy on the eyes. She perfectly captures the nostalgia of all of us who grew up too late for Gen X and too soon to be Millenials. Definitely check it out and be prepared to have a good time!
