“Who Am I And What The Hell am I Doing?!” is a one person show by Carmen Angelica (Writer at the Upright Citizens Brigade), directed by Rebecca Drysdale (writer on Key and Peele). In the show Carmen tried to answer the questions she receives all the time in a patchwork of vignettes about who she is and what she is doing out in LA using comedy, music, animation and just the right amount of pissed off.
“Who Am I And What The Hell Am I Doing?!” had a successful run at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in LA from November 2013- February 2014. It was listed as one of LAist’s “17 of our Favorite Events in Los Angeles this week” during it’s last show at UCB February 21st, 2014. During it’s run, the show had regularly packed houses and standing ovations. Who am I and What The Hell am I doing will be up at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York in the beginning of July, and a part of the Minneapolis Fringe Festival in the beginning of August.
