My overall impression

With 30 Minute Musicals, you’re in for a hilarious sprint through movies that would otherwise probably never get the Broadway treatment. It’s funny. It’s catchy. And it’s FAST. Perhaps the best moments occur when show deviates from the established plot to provide a gag, narrative shortcut, or some wry commentary (their Independence Day’s dialogue-free opening scene is brilliant in its simplicity). Tom DeTrinis and Brooke Seguin have once gain assembled a wonderful cast, but they also provide several of the show’s most memorable characters (Tom as the Outbreak monkey is inspired and Brooke will make sure you never look at Donald Sutherland the same way again). The whole thing is a just a ton of fun and I can’t recommend it highly enough!
