My overall impression

I had some idea of the show going in but was delighted by the contrasts in actors, and the seamless way the story unfolded. It was very amusing to watch a dred locked black man’s frantic adventures as he drove across the red states to a gig, with Marlene Nichols serving as his NPR radio entertainment enroute.

The frantic, earthy, realistic story telling of actual adventures on the road mixed in with a very poetic description of a womens issues growing up with love and lust and life as she travelled across the world was very entertaining. You never got bored as the two actors kept switching it up.

But the real beauty of the play was that deep in it there were excellent lessons to be learned on prejudices, fears, assumptions way out of line, the beauty of the American heartland, and the angst of a young women as she moved thru life and men.

I was actually quite surprised how good it was and its so CHEAP to go, not to be missed. I hear two more shows left definately worth a WOOF!
