My overall impression
An enthralling show… it held the audience in rapt attention for the entire ride. Les and Marlene seamlessly weave two storytelling voices, alternating between a transcontinental road trip, replete with reminiscence and adventure, and a summoning of vivid characters and loved ones, across different geographies, in a young woman’s life. Both Marlene and Les are masterful storytellers with amazing command of their instruments and voice. I enjoyed the breaks and rhythms of what held the richness of a setlist, each vignette a singular transmission of love lost, shared, and gained. Not to be missed!
