Review by ASHLEIGH FATA

My overall impression

I know that something is worth seeing if I’m still thinking about it after the performance. Days after seeing “Sunshine,” I’m still thinking about the play. More than just a study in relationships, I think “Sunshine” works as a studied look into different types of masculinity. How Sunshine relates to the men she lives with or meets reveals a more complex and complicated picture than I think we’re used to seeing discussed. Great direction, great performances from all the actors really draw out these issues and make “Sunshine” a play that will stick with you long after the lights go out.
