A touching story with a lot of potential. The play itself is good, and with a little more work, it will be something great. The acting is solid all around, with Elizabeth Rian's Rebecca a charming standout. ... full review

This play was so spellbinding the audience did not want to leave and, even after the curtain calls, they all sat wanting more. Lead performer and playwright Elizabeth Rian has a knack for diva impersonations that fit her haughty protagonist, an actress forced to be helpful to a bunch of senile old folk. She is a beauty and surrounds herself with a terrific cast. The play delves into what defines true kindness and how even play-acting at caring can somehow transform one’s spirit. This one hour presentation is a teaser for a full length play that I hope Rian will pursue as it’s a perfect show for my NOT BORN YESTERDAY senior readers. Reviews @theatrespokenhere ... full review

The Kindness of Strangers was magnetizing!! I laughed, cried, and was swept into a world beautifully created by Elizabeth Rian and wonderfully acted by the entire cast. Like all great art, this play made me look within myself and question my own life. I walked away feeling so inspired and hopeful because of the beautiful message of the play. BRAVO! ... full review
