My overall impression

Belleville- So, raw, real, and diverse. It really hit home for me. Great subject manor and beautifully written from start to finish. The ensemble was incredible, and I could watch them for hours and never look away. The directing went so perfect with the cast, the space and the story. I also really enjoyed the diversity of the cast and the show alone had diverse content like I’ve never seen before.

Emily Rutan – Incredible stage presence. Strong actress who leads her cast very well. Beautiful character arc from beginning to end. Extremely relatable.
Lee Doud- Can’t hate but to love him. His acting plays very well across from his partner Emily. I believed him throughly.
Lara Farasat- Definition of “no small role” I wanted more of her. Small but powerful voice and character.
Karim Saleh- Strong subtle stage presence from the moment he came on stage. So much beautiful subtext with every word. His comedic timing was wonderful.

2 words: Yes Tessa Rapazynski. (director) Fuck. YES. (WHO DONATED ALL HER TICKET SALES TO A GREAT CAUSE) #superwoman
