What I liked

I attended the preview of Seven Decembers last Sunday. It was a great experience. The play was very well written. Annamarie Davidson is a very talented writer. The play was based on a tragedy — the disappearance of a loved one — and the family members’ struggle year after year to deal with their grief and loss. The cast was amazing. Bridgit King gave a very strong performance in the lead role of Johnny May, the sister who you feel and learn was closest to the missing brother. I found this to be a very emotional experience. I deeply felt the grief of each family member brought out by this talented cast. However, I was also able to laugh at the comic relief interspersed throughout the play. I highly recommend seeing this production. I intend to see it again!
