NILBOG: the unauthorized musical parody of Troll 2

As a six-year fan of the movie TROLL 2, I was really hoping that NILBOG would do the movie justice... IT DID MORE!!! If you love TROLL 2, or if you've never seen it before, it doesn't matter! The actors were having a blast on stage and how could they not? The music was phenomenal, I was singing "I'm a Troll 2 fan, and I don't care..." long after I left the theater. The actors were all phenomenal, and they successfully maintained the spirit of the actors from the film while bringing their own characterization to the stage. They all did phenomenal work. This unauthorized musical parody of TROLL 2, largely regarded as the best worst movie ever made, is raucous to the extreme, which is not a bad thing. The performers give it everything they've got, with plenty of audience interaction. Packed with lots of surprises (even if you can quote every line of the movie), it is the definition of "never boring". The sold-out audience loved every second of the preview and what's not to love?... full review

A ridiculous romp of non-stop rowdy raucous revelry. If you are a fan of bad films, and particularly the gem that is Troll 2 (there are no trolls in it!), then this is the musical parody for you. Scenery is chewed splendidly, as it should be. You'll probably want to have a couple drinks, eat some green tinted popcorn, and let loose with the rest of the crowd. The show itself is lots of fun, even if some of the cast members were not the greatest singers or the greatest at keeping a consistent beat--it adds to the hilarity and zaniness of Nilbog! The show is great, and as long as you are prepared to be crammed into the venue like sardines and expect the show to last a bit longer than expected, you should have a pretty good time. Do you love cheesy b-movies as much as I do? Do you love movies that are so ridiculous that you laugh the entire time, even though you're not supposed to? If you do, this is something you need to see! This is the unauthorized musical of Troll 2, the best worst movie ever made! With that being said, I think you can tell how ridiculous this will be. I had SO MUCH FUN at this. It was so ridiculous but in the good way. There's audience participation (live tweeting, drinking games, and popcorn) and the actors play into the ridiculousness of it all and that makes it so much better. If you're looking to have a fun time with friends, definitely check this out!... full review
