What I liked

Writer Terry Anne Holzman really captured the essence of those who are either addicted to or fall into the crime of shoplifting. In Sticky Fingers she has created six women who each have had unique experiences with the misdeed , and she has them relate their stories with humor and poignancy. Director Ernie Holzman has done a super job of staging what could be a static series of monologues by having the characters interact and move about the stage just enough to keep the audience from focusing on just one individual at a time. These actors are all wonderful…it was hard to not believe they hadn’t been through their ordeals!
This could make a terrific series on Showtime!
