For a show that starts off like Edward Albee's "Zoo Story," this play takes you to a whole other level of emotion connection and pain. The depth at which the characters are written is incredible and both actors rise to challenge of taking them on this journey. Not only was I enthralled by the story, but also by the grace at which the director led us toward the painful, yet heartwarming ending. Going in with very little expectations, I was blown away by just how much ground they were able to cover in 1hr. This is truly a MUST SEE show at this year's Fringe festival. Bravo!!... full review

I very much liked the concept and the delivery of the material. The mystery element doesn't overshadow the characters' motivations. Very engaging and well performed!... full review

DON'T MISS THIS PRODUCTION. IT IS NOT A COMEDY BUT IS FUNNY IN HOW IT CAPTURES SO PERFECTLY TWO DISTINCT PERSONALITIES WHO HAVE MORE IN COMMON THAN THEY'D LIKE TO ACKNOWLEDGE. ... full review

Kudos to both actors for bringing to life these two characters in grounded, real, contemporary performances while using some deliciously image-laden text. It's a strange and gripping relationship that unfolds, and you can't take your eyes off it.... full review

Mount Vernon was executed perfectly. The Hudson Theater was the perfect venue for a classic theater experience such as this. I hope to see Mount Vernon in a repertoire theater or off Broadway, as it is relevant without being preachy. It is a true theater experience, it makes you think, question, and creates an exchange of ideas with those who see it. ... full review
