What I liked
Heather, took a very emotional and difficult subject, and wrote/performed a piece that it is filled with so much humor and humanity! She weaved in and out of characters – all of them so different and so beilevable. She was direct in her storytelling and right from her first line, she grabbed my attention and I was glued. I could NOT take my eyes off of her as she transitioned from moment to moment. It was all so REAL! The story is very well written, so clever, so original, and so engaging. It’s a very funny, upbeat story and journey about a very difficult subject and moment in her life …. yet she decided to take lemon’s and make an amazingly sweet and tasty lemonade and a delicious lemon cake too. I highly recommend others to go see this very original piece.

My overall impression
I would love to see the show on a larger stage. Heather is such a great actress, she’ funny, she’s intense and she’s so fully committed to the characters she plays, that I feel a larger space would give her more room to move about. I know this show is going to keep on playing and playing as this story needs to be TOLD!
