What I specifically liked about it was watching how quickly and authentically Jacobs’ inhabited whatever emotion he was trying to portray. You could really feel his struggles in the moment because he communicated them so clearly. If you didn’t leave reflecting on your life or questioning where you are, you probably weren’t paying attention to the play.
What I didn't like
Nothing. I thought it was amazing exactly how it was and if it were to be “polished” I think it would take away from the emotional edge that made it feel so real
My overall impression
It was a highly courageous and entertaining journey into a life of longing, pain, depression, insight and joyous moments. It was a work of pure honesty and I found it to be very raw and relatable. You’re in the presence of someone exposing their soul.
