Just Like Life was entertaining, well-acted, thought-provoking, and absurd. It made you pay attention and spurred conversation afterwards.
What I didn't like
The playwright’s intention was not clear. There are many different messages — political, religious, familial. We were not exactly sure what we were supposed to take away.
My overall impression
Overall, I thought Just Like Life was an absurd commentary on life seen through the repetition of this one mother/son relationship but applicable to societies throughout time. The dense well-delivered dialogue made you have to pay attention and think, spurring (in our case) hours of conversation afterwards. Make sure to not see it alone!
