Encore! Saw the 1pm Saturday show and was, per usual, so entranced by these improvisers. There's something magical that comes from a level of trust coupled with the cast's ability to play this genre with genuine feeling and affection while allowing for the hijinks that improv will always provide. These ladies SHINE! They are true long-form professionals, making an art form that is extremely difficult appear effortless and seamless while making us laugh the entire time. What I appreciated most was how sophisticated and intelligent their show was. A lot of times when I see improv, the performers just pick the low-hanging fruit for their choices but these ladies were unexpected and even intellectually deep at times which made everything feel much more satisfying. Their technical improvisers utilized music and sound effects in extremely effective ways. This group is on a higher level and they have an amazing chemistry and easiness with one another. Tight, coordinated and SMART. This team knows what they are doing and pours it on throughout hour (which goes by way to fast). This show reignited my faith and interest in long form improv (because let's be honest there is a lot in this town that isn't worth seeing). ... full review
