Musical Theatre gets a Milennial Makeover with Slightly-Off Broadway, a Parody Song-Cycle
May 14, 2017
Sure, the hottest ticket in town may be the real “Hamilton” but we’ll give you the real deets (Mary Poppins style) of why we are “SUPER-STOKED-TO-SEE-A-SHOW-BY-LIN-MANUEL-MIRANDA”
Chromolume Theatre is back for a third consecutive year with Fringe Veteran Bonnie Joy Sludikoff’s zany parody song-cycle, “Slightly-Off Broadway.” Under the musical direction of Paul Cady, a cast of five will be delivering dazzling vocals and lyrics that better fit our needs than the typical fare. You’ll find out all the joys of living in C-A-L-I-F-ORN-I-A, tread the scary waters of tinder-dating with “A Whole New Girl,” and travel to the greatest city in the world where credit card debt can make you feel “HELPLESS.”
Slightly-Off Broadway features a cast of five including Kelvin Ralph Chou, Eleen Hsu-Wentlandt, Rita Outtrim, Kendrick Maurice Purnell, and Bonnie Joy Sludikoff. Executive produced by Chromolume Theatre.
