What I liked
This could be a challenging project because of many things. The lead role is a young boy. The woman they found to play that role fit the bill perfectly! The other central character remains in a reclined chair throughout the show. Having that chair swivel was inspired. The writing is so subtle in the way it tells the story through what the characters do and don’t say. And putting all the pieces together takes a talented director. Congrats to Sam Wilkes and the entire production team!
What I didn't like
The show was terrific. I have no suggestions.
My overall impression
I had no expectations going into the show, I knew nothing about it, and I loved it! The story felt fresh, the cast was terrific, and they captured every laugh possible. Great show!
