What I liked

The one-man show staging and writing made the story especially intimate and affecting.

What I didn't like

My overall impression

It was a very thought-provoking first person coming-of-age story. It dealt bravely and honestly with universal family issues, focusing on a father-son relationship. A moving and poignant story, well acted, that deals with the agonies of adolescence and the persistence of family ties that prove hard, if not impossible, to break. A catalyst for further conversation about our own family secrets among those who saw this with me.
