What I liked
I had no idea what to expect going into Andy: The Red-Nosed Warhola. I mean…with a title like that I expected something Fringey, and this show does deliver on that promise.
That said, ‘Fringey’ can be a perfectly great thing, and the performers are funny, the quips and chatter interesting, and I actually came away from the show feeling like I understood something of Warhol(somehow). Through his own words you form the impression of a complex and ambivalent man; fascinating and difficult, empathetic but self-absorbed.
This is a great way to knock out 30 minutes while you’re enjoying Fringe that also provides some insight. In a lot of ways this is a sort of ‘ideal’ Fringe show, in my mind; an avant-garde playground that offers some legitimate mental sustenance. I recommend it!
What I didn't like
I wouldn’t know how to critique a show like this, to be honest. You either accept it as it is or you don’t…
My overall impression
