What I liked

SALT WATER TAFFY!!!!!

And that slide show was incredible. Where did they find so many specific photos from the era? Great job with that. It was really fun to follow the slides during Keith’s rapid fire monologues.

What I didn't like

No complaints. Well done!

My overall impression

This autobiographical storytelling show was so entertaining, I kinda didn’t want it to end. I expected it to be pretty good because I’ve seen Keith Blaney perform at Comedy Central Stage’s Thursday night Sit n Spin many times, but this evening was elevated way beyond my expectations. Keith not only knows how to write an interesting story that moves along and keeps his audience intrigued, but he also delivers it like a seasoned comic veteran, turning ordinary lines into a playful, teasing dances.

On top of that, the performance includes the perfect amount of support from musical accompanist Nikki Kelly. Nikki adds icing and smiles in all the right places. I think she can play any instrument ever created. Plus her soothing voice immediately puts the audience at ease.
