What I liked
Cindy’s performance was so real, her emotions so relatable, and her physical work with the “cats” so vivid. Neither of us is a cat person, and we were both so moved by the feelings it brought up of love and family and belonging. Great writing, great performance!
What I didn't like
I almost wish the title was different because it’s not just about cats! It’s about love and family, and I might have missed this show since I’m not a cat lover. :-) But I’m so glad I saw it!
My overall impression
Such a beautiful – and beautifully performed – show about looking for your family, loving them, losing them, and living again. They could be cats, dogs, humans – Cindy’s authentic and emotionally raw performance bring the emotion to life of what it means to truly love someone.
