What I liked

The mix of music and comedy, the topics brought up, the presence of the performer. It’s a simple and brilliant production.

What I didn't like

I feel as if Vanessa played herself with honesty and there is nothing I could or would change about it

My overall impression

Reading the title of this show might make you think of self deprecating humor, which it is just that, but Lanessa is a master at it. Fringe is the perfect audience for this show as most of us are, or have been, in her stage of life. Having just finished 4 years of art school, Lanessa questions what she will do for the rest of her life, with a musical throughline. With a short runtime of 42 minutes, this show will fit perfectly in your Fringe schedule. Perhaps the funniest one-person show I’ve seen all year.
