What I liked

I liked the progression of Ben’s breakdown and how he still tried his damnedest to get through his presentation. The determination despite depression is something every person can relate to. It was also difficult to tell where the show was going at times, but it worked in the show’s favor. It gets genuinely uncomfortable and sad, but then quickly goes back to being funny.

What I didn't like

I personally felt the use of “playwright language” was a bit heavy for the kind of show this was. I understand that flowery language and not using contractions is par for the course in these types of shows, but it just bugged me a bit in this one.

My overall impression

A wonderful balance of funny, absurd, and sad.
