What I liked
Lauren Van Kurin just slays in this thing. She has this humble yet ALL IN energy onstage that I could watch all day, but this whole cast. Seriously. Chef’s kiss. Also, Zachary Bernstein’s storyline defies all the tired, out-dated, female tropes while still being cute as hell. Well done!

My overall impression
My God, this is how you do a fringe musical. Guy Picot’s direction uses minimalist set pieces and crazy-quick costume changes not only in perfect service of this story, but in a way that adds to it’s humor and the show’s overall charm. Next-leveled by Sarah Kruger’s choreography, “Earth To Karen” is an unexpected delight of visual storytelling. Each cast member is just fabulous in their role and with Zachary Bernstein’s gift for turn of phrase and modern storytelling, this show is nothing but talent and fringing know-how across the board.
