What I liked
I appreciated the connection between the music, projected images and Mariela’s story telling. I liked how she helped remind us all how easy it is to be hurt when you’re blinded by lies you believe to be the only truth. How easily kids can be manipulated into believing things that will cause them irreversible damage. Thank you Mariela!

My overall impression
This show was so beautiful, so raw, so vulnerable, and so moving. Mariela’s performance was one to feel and remember. The story is eye opening, inspiring and heart clenching. Thank you for sharing your struggle and how you overcame it to be who you are today.
