What I liked
I loved the creative storytelling and scripting, and from that, the overall performance by Mariela. I couldn’t believe how the show kept moving us to new heights and new story territory given that it was only a one person show. The number of characters played by Mariela, the staging, direction, lighting, use of sound and projection of ‘set’ background plates along with the courageous story being told – by only one actor – was simply superb and I wish the production great success as I only saw the preview.
What I didn't like
I felt the production worked very well. I would love to see it again on a bigger stage with a larger audience at some point in the future.
My overall impression
I was blown away by Mariela’s performance and the show overall. A heart wrenching story, masterfully directed, staged and creatively acted that left me in tears of emotion.
