Donnie Smith – is a Rogue Machine Theatre company member where he has performed the west coast premiere of “House” (LA Weekly nomination – Solo Performance), the world premiere of “Small Engine Repair” (Ovation, LADCC, Backstage Garland & LA Weekly awards), as well as several “Around-The-Clock Festivals.” Other LA credit goes to Gangbuster’s critically acclaimed world premiere of “Sunny Afternoon” at the 2013 Hollywood Fringe (Best of Fringe) and Theatre Asylum.

Don was born and raised on the SouthSide of Chicago where stage credits include: “The Mousetrap” (Drury Lane); “Pentecost” (Chicago Irish Rep); “Romeo And Juliet” (Chicago Shakespeare, NEA tour); “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” “The Merchant of Venice,” “Romeo And Juliet” (Illinois Shakespeare Festival); “David Copperfield,” “The Water Engine,” “Division Street: America” (Steppenwolf); “Bloody Bess” (Red Hen); “The Rimers of Eldrich” (Terrapin); “When The Walls Have Ears” (world premiere, Mary-Arrchie).

Don studied at the School at Steppenwolf and Steppenwolf Classes West; he is also a graduate of the School of Theatre at Illinois State University.
