Leah Patterson

LEAH PATTERSON is an award-winning director who has been named a 2019 Top 10 Women In Film To Watch by Diversity In Cannes. She is a current finalist for the Half Initiative (Ryan Murphy TV) in-house director program.

She performed at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2014 in Dolores, which won a Pick of the Fringe Award.

Leah directed BRIDGET AND IAIN by Norelle Scott for the Short+Sweet Festival Hollywood, a 60+ play festival. She won Best Director and the play won Best Play and the People’s Choice Award presented by the City of Los Angeles. She directed and produced BRIDGET AND IAIN the film which won a Best Actor award at Diversity in Cannes Short Film Showcase. www.bridgetandiainthefilm.com

She is the Literary Manager for Los Angeles based Australian Theatre Company and curates the popular Summer Reading Series. She was Assistant Director on ATC’s multi-award winning Speaking In Tongues.

Australian-born, Leah graduated from the University of New South Wales (BA Theatre/Film & Philosophy) and New York acting conservatory William Esper Studio. She had a previous career in finance on Wall Street.
