Well played variety of characters complete with voices and gestures.. and did I mention the incredible physicality of the show.. Truly magnificent work for such a sizable cast in such a tight space.. the interaction, spacing, staging, and simplistic props was freekin awesome.. This an amazing set and cast and space... For a fringe entry, the set is definitely worth seeing as you literally step into a basement setting the moment you enter the theater. It was a great transformation of space in a short time but the folks at Studio C did a great job. Plus the new edition of a simple yet effective lighting package takes Studio C up a notch. Musty is the Friday night show and Dank is the Saturday night show. In the Basement runs every weekend until July 25th. ... full review
