Corryn Cummins

Corryn is a Chicago native LA-based Actor, Producer and (now!) Director who works all over town, but most often with Rogue Machine, with whom she is an ensemble member, and Padua Playwrights, with whom she is an unofficial muse.

Favorite LA projects include: Starring in the magical role of Alice in THE MISSING PAGES OF LEWIS CARROLL (The Theatre @Boston Court), Ophelia in HAMLET MAX (Sacred Fools/Schkapf) at HFF14, Producing and appearing as the only woman in SUNNY AFTERNOON (Gangbusters; Best of Fringe) at HFF13, BLACKBIRD with Rogue Machine (LA Weekly Award: Two-Person Performance), Atlanta/LA/Berlin tour of THE BLACK GLASS (Padua), KILLER JOE (Lost Angels; Ovation Awards for Ensemble & Production) and Associate Producing SMALL ENGINE REPAIR (Rogue Machine; Ovation, LA Weekly & LADCC Awards for Production).

Corryn has also worked in LA and Chicago with Steppenwolf, Lookingglass, The Blank, The Odyssey, Greenway Arts, West Coast Jewish Theatre, A Red Orchid, Theatre @Boston Court, Mary-Arrchie, Famous Door, Timeline, The Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Donny Osmond, into microphones, on various sized screens, in back yards, warehouses and around tables. She holds a BFA from The School of Theatre at Illinois State University. She also takes pictures of everything.
