Dana Lyn Baron
On any given day, Dana is an Actor, VO Artist, Producer, Creative Entrepreneur. She’s jumping into the Fringe for the 1ST time as a Producer on Gangbuster Theatre Company’s production of William Mastrosimone’s SUNSHINE, starring Mary Kelsey & directed by Corryn Cummins.
Member of Rogue Machine Theatre where last season she was a producer on the world premiere of Vince Melocchi’s NICE THINGS, and was Assistant Director on Christopher Shinn’s DYING CITY (2013 Ovation Winner- Production of the Year). As an actor, she has participated in several installments of the Around-the-Clock Play Festival, as well as the award-winning BLACKBIRD (2011). LA Theatre: The Road Theatre Company, Circus Theatricals at The Hayworth, The Odyssey, and The Lex. Film: Producer of short films such as Paul Budnitz’s Ultraviolet (Berlin Film Festival, Palm Springs International ShortFest, etc), and has appeared in many (very) independent films, including 2014 student Emmy Award-winning, In Passing (Lead). TV: Shameless (2015), Criminal Minds, General Hospital. Voice-Over Highlights: national radio voice of GAP, Mortal Kombat (as Sonya Blade), 24: Day Zero (as Teri Bauer, opposite Kiefer Sutherland). A graduate of UCLA (B.A. Mass Communication Studies), Dana studied at the La Jolla Playhouse (apprentice to Bill Irwin) and the British American Drama Academy at Oxford University. www.danalynbaron.com
