About the Project
Love, for Omar and Jedediah, was never much in either of their minds. Not that much of anything goes on in Jedediah’s mind, but lately Omar has been yearning for a deeper connection between them. No matter how fast his heart beats when his friend is around, the fear of losing him entirely beats louder, and so Omar convinces himself to be content with their boundary-pushing “best friendship” that he’s worked so hard to sustain. They live a happy little life, roommates and platonic bedmates at Georgia Tech, attending classes in an astrophysics program, hoping one day to lasso the moon together. It’s only once a beautiful, delusional, highly determined human roadblock named Annie sidesteps in the way of their love that Omar has to summon the courage to do something about it. Will they take their weird wild west to the next great frontier: space? Or is their love doomed to die like a horse with a broken leg?
