Taking our beloved sci-fi tv shows/movies and marrying it to our favorite family sitcom was an awesome idea. In both of these genres there would be those "episodes" that addressed very serious topics, that were a bit outside of the box for that tv show... but we loved it, the media loved it, and the culture loved it. What a wonderful, vulnerable, and inspiring show! Lisa is such a beautiful storyteller. What a delight it was to watch her command the stage with so much confidence, in-spite of where she has been. The witty way in which she tackles shame makes even the most difficult stories she is sharing, palatable. Her timing is spot on, delivering some of the lighter moments and laughter.
